In 1983, ‘Return of the Jedi’ premiered and Ronald Reagan launched his own ‘Star Wars’. Meanwhile, in a city very, very close by… the project known in 2018 as MEDICINA ESTETICA LAGO began its journey, with 5 clinics in Barcelona, Hospitalet de Llobregat, and Badalona, and one of the most comprehensive human and technological teams.

Those were different times, also for aesthetic medicine. Laser hair removal and Botox didn’t exist, ‘facial cleanings’ were still done with ozone steam, and very few men ventured into what was then an almost exclusively female galaxy. To the point that, in 1993, to give them a push, LAGO IMATGE was opened, the first center in Barcelona dedicated solely to men, as an annex to the clinic on Balmes Street. After a few years, both locations were reunified, and since then, 4 new clinics have opened, the latest being GRAN VIA in 2016.
