Facial lift surgery (facelift or facial rhytidectomy) is the technique used to comprehensively treat the most visible signs of aging of the face and neck, such as sagging and wrinkles.
The facelift is an alternative with longer-lasting results compared to other aesthetic medicine treatments such as fillers with hyaluronic acid, mesotherapy with vitamins or with platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
The facelift is usually performed under general anesthesia and requires a brief hospitalization, and after the procedure it is important that the patient uses appropriate sun protection.
