The duration of the session depends on the size of the area to be treated; for example, the legs of a person who is 1.50 m tall will differ from someone who is 1.90 m.
Generally, areas such as the underarms, bikini line, brow, face, or fingers may require only 20 minutes. For larger areas, such as full legs + intimate area, the hair removal treatment can last around 80 min.
It will depend on various factors, such as age, sex, the area to be treated, hair type and skin phototype. We could say that the average number of sessions is 6 to 8 to achieve a satisfactory result.
Medical laser hair removal uses light energy (pulses of light) to remove unwanted hair. The light energy is absorbed by the hair pigment (melanin) and converted into heat, thereby damaging the hair follicle matrix and preventing it from producing new hair.
